PU Foams & PU Resins For Waterproofing

PU foams and PU resins are used for the stoppage of active (live) leakages which are otherwise not possible with cementitious products, like in dams, tunnels, water reservoirs, basements, STP Tanks etc. These future generation water proofing foams & resins are the ULTIMATE water proofers when every efforts to stop water fails. The foam reacts with the water & expands upto 30 to 40 times of its volume. The crackers & voids are then sealed by PU Resins.

CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B Polyurethane injection grout for the elastic sealing of cracks in concrete structures.

DESCRIPTION :

CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B is a two component polyurethane system consisting of a resin component (CORESEAL 135A) and a special type of isocyanate (CORESEAL 135B). This system is ideally suitable for the elastic sealing of cracks in concrete structures as well as areas suffering from water leakage problems. The use of CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B as such is depending on the amount of water expected. In case the crack is dry or moist CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B can be used directly into the crack. If a leakage of water has to be stopped CORESEAL 135A/CORESEAL 135B could be used in combination with the CORESEAL 357A/ CORESEAL 357 CAT.

CORESEAL 357A/ CORESEAL 357 CAT will first stop the water and / or react the water away, after which the injection of CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B can be carried out.

OPERATIONAL DATA
Although CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B is a two component system, it can be used as a one component system. CORESEAL 135A/ CORESEAL 135B as a one component system.

• Step 1: Add the required amount of CORESEAL 135B to the CORESEAL 135A.
• Step 2: Mix it thoroughly until a homogenous mixture has been obtained, which will be the case after about 2 minutes.
• Step 3: The mix can be pumped by means of a single component injection pump. Keep in mind that the potlife of the system is 70 - 90minutes at 20 °C.
• After the injection the pump should be cleaned with CORESEAL SOL (These products may not contain any water).
• To prevent condensation on the liquids at the start of work, the temperature of the components should be at least as high as the ambient temperature.
• All opened drums of CORESEAL 135A and 135B should be purged with dry nitrogen and capped when not in use.
